holy fucking shit it doesn’t fucking matter how much you know about the firearms industry because what i was fucking talking about was MARKETING TO FUCKING CHILDREN

do you fucking think marketing experts and marketing firms are fucking experts in every single fucking field they fucking do business for?

do you fucking think the people that came up with Coke’s superbowl commercials are fucking experts on the ingredients of coca-fucking-cola?

we’re fucking talking about marketing. these images obviously MARKET FIREARMS TO CHILDREN. I’M NOT FUCKING DISCUSSING HOW FIREARMS ARE FUCKING PURCHASED. I’M FUCKING TALKING ABOUT THE FUCKING IMAGES IN THIS FUCKING PHOTOSET.

    Fucking: 16

    And an all caps rage

By saying that those guns are marketed towards children… you ARE talking about the firearms industry.

The firearms company markets their own firearms… they dont hire people to do it for them because there is a science behind guns and how they function in various roles.

They arent like IKEA, they dont advertise something to make it look pretty. they advertise something based off of it’s capabilities, and intended purpose.

“do you fucking think the people that came up with Coke’s superbowl commercials are fucking experts on the ingredients of coca-fucking-cola?”

We’re talking about guns here, stay focused.

Considering those look like home pictures to me… I wouldn’t say they’re being used to market ANYTHING, they’re just some pictures someone took of thier child with the gun that they went out and bought for them to teach them how to hunt and to teach them proper gun safety.

As I said earlier, the one on top is actually designed for adults. And the one on the bottom right is a BB gun.

The pink one is a single shot .22LR that is popular among gun owning parents because they are perfect for teaching children how to handle a gun with respect and safety instead of “Lol i’m gonna dual wield my 12 gauge because that’s what they do on Call of Duty!!!”

You’re shaming these parents for trying to keep their child safe and trying to keep them from accidentally hurting someone… this way they know what to do when they come across a gun, and they know not to play with it.

None of these pictures are “marketing”

So I dont see a problem here.

Armedplatypus: proof that sensible, educated gun owners are a lot more rational and focused than your fear-mongering anti-gun whack job.

awww, thanks! yall are too nice to me.
